Brienne Rousseau Sought by Authorities in Hit-and-Run Crash that Injured Motorcyclist in Grass Valley
Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Grass Valley Accident on Lower Colfax Road near Agony Hill Road; Brienne Rousseau Wanted
Grass Valley, California (January 10, 2021) – Brienne Amber Rousseau, 23, is wanted by the authorities following a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Grass Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the major injury accident happened at about 12:04 p.m. January 9, on Lower Colfax Road near Agony Hill Road.
Rousseau was driving on Lower Colfax Road when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle collided head-on with a motorcycle, the CHP said.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The name of the rider and condition was not immediately disclosed.
Rousseau did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. The authorities said Rousseau has multiple warrants for her arrest.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. Anyone with information about Rousseau’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
