Yuba County, California (July 17, 2021) – Brian Crawford, 59, of Linda, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday night in Yuba County, authorities said.

The deadly accident happened at about 10:00 p.m., on July 15, on Highway 70, north of Feather River Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver of a vehicle was headed southbound on the highway in the No. 1 lane when it merged into the right lane.

Unfortunately, the vehicle collided with a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Crawford, in the same direction. 

Following the collision, Crawford reportedly crashed into a metal guardrail.

Sadly, Crawford sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

More details about the collision were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
