Brian Adams Killed in Santa Maria Car Crash on Highway 166 near Rock Front Ranch
Santa Maria, California (April 9, 2019) – Police officers have identified one of the two people killed in a head-on crash on Saturday afternoon in Santa Maria as Brian Scott Adams, 29, of Bakersfield, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at about 12:34 p.m. April 6, on Highway 166 near Rock Front Ranch.
The California Highway Patrol said Adams was driving a 1992 Honda Accord when he swerved into the path of a 2016 Nissan Sentra which was traveling east on the highway. The driver of the Sentra attempted to avoid the Honda but they collided head-on on right front.

Adams and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The three occupants of the Sentra were taken to a hospital with minor to major injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
