Brentwood, CA: CHP Investigating DUI Car Accident on Walnut Boulevard Near Eureka Avenue

Brentwood, California (April 19, 2021) – An alleged DUI traffic collision that took place Friday night in Brentwood resulted in moderate injuries, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle collision happened along Walnut Boulevard near the Eureka Avenue intersection shortly after 10 p.m. on April 16.

The accident involved a GMC Yukon driven by a male party and a Honda Civic that crashed on the roadway under unclear circumstances.

A woman riding in the Honda sustained moderate injuries and was rushed to the Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch for medication.

Brentwood Accident Seriously Injures One Person

The GMC operator, who was possibly intoxicated at the time of the crash, was also hospitalized with unknown injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Meanwhile, the CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
