Boron, California (April 19, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that left at least one person injured in Boron, Kern County, on Sunday night.
The crash happened at about 10:32 p.m. on Highway 58 near Borax Road.
A sedan was traveling on the roadway when it rear-ended a semi-truck for unknown reasons.
The authorities who responded to the incident found the sedan stuck underneath the trailer.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
