Corona, California (February 8, 2020) – An 85-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run car accident that killed an Eastvale woman in Corona on Wednesday.

According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:40 p.m. February 5, at River Road and Kalus Avenue.

48-year-old Brenda Richardson was riding her motorcycle westbound on River Road when she was hit by an eastbound 2006 Lexus ES330 driven by Tashiro Isa of Corona.

As per the CHP report, the Lexus was making a turn when the collision occurred.

The impact of the collision ejected Richardson from her motorcycle.

Richardson, a resident of Eastvale, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Mr. Tashiro Isa fled the scene after the accident but was later located and arrested.

He faces multiple charges including felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
