Bloomington, California (April 13, 2021) – One person died after being run over by a semi-truck Tuesday night in Bloomington, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at about 8:16 p.m. on westbound Valley Boulevard, just east of Locust Avenue.

Reportedly, a person was, for unknown reasons, sleeping under a red semi-truck when the driver got back in the truck and did not realize the party was under the truck.

The driver ran over the party, killing them.

The coroner was called to the scene following the accident.

CHP is investigating the incident.
