Bloomington, California (May 31, 2021) – One person was injured Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident at an intersection in Bloomington, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The car crash was reported just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and 11th Street.
According to the CHP, a silver-colored sedan collided with a gold Ford F-150 hauling a trailer at the Bloomington intersection.
The impact caused the pickup truck to overturn.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and treated one person who sustained undisclosed injuries in the crash. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
One of the motorists involved in the crash fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect.
The intersection of Cedar Avenue and 11th Street was blocked while the investigation took place.
The accident remains under investigation.
