At least 1 Seriously Hurt in Benicia Car Accident on I-780 Freeway
Benicia, California (March 2, 2019) – At least one person sustained major injuries on Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Benicia, Solano County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place around 11:23 a.m. March 1, on the eastbound Interstate 780 Freeway at Military West Street.
The manner in which the two vehicles collided was not immediately established.
At least one person was hospitalized with major injuries as a result of the wreck.
A red Nissan 350 Z involved in the collision was towed from the scene with a flat tire.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
