At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Barstow Car Collision on 15 Freeway near Lenwood Road Off-Ramp
Barstow, California (January 11, 2020) – At least one person sustained serious injuries when two vehicles collided early Saturday morning on northbound 15 Freeway in Barstow, the California Highway Patrol reported.
CHP officials said the crash happened at about 12:52 a.m. just south of Lenwood Road off-ramp.
A sedan and a tractor-trailer were involved in the crash. Several parties were blocking traffic lanes while attempting to pull other parties out of the sedan before emergency crews arrived at the scene.
At least one person who sustained serious injuries was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
