Barstow, California (August 27, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury collision that happened Monday afternoon at an intersection in Barstow leaving two people hospitalized.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided at around 5:56 p.m. at National Trails Highway and Frontier Road.
A Scion XD collided with a Ford Crown Victoria for unknown reasons, according to officers. The Scion overturned onto its side and was blocking the roadway after the crash
Two people sustained major injuries, and two air ambulances were requested to the scene to take them to an area trauma center.
