Barry Kegley Seriously Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 in Glenn County
Barry Kegley Suffers Major Injuries in Glenn County Car Accident on Interstate 5 near County Road 57

Glenn County, California (August 19, 2020) – The man who was seriously injured Monday night in a traffic accident in Glenn County has been identified as Barry Kegley, 63, of Oroville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury collision happened at around 10:30 p.m. Monday, August 17, on Interstate 5, just north of Road 57.
As per the CHP press release, Kegley was driving a Toyota southbound on Interstate 5 at a posted speed of 55 miles per hour when he veered to the left and entered the gravel median.
The Toyota then turned to the right and rotated clockwise. It then went across both lanes of Interstate 5 and entered a grass area just west of Interstate 5.
Kegley turned the Toyota to the left, and it started to rotate a counterclockwise direction. The vehicle then crashed into a perimeter fence and continued heading southbound before it flipped onto its roof.
Kegley was transported to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries. His current condition was not immediately diclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
