Minor Injuries Sustained in Baldwin Park Collision on Interstate 605 near Interstate 10

Baldwin Park, California (June 13, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that happened early Sunday morning on a freeway in Baldwin Park, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at around 4:05 a.m. on southbound Interstate 605, just south of Interstate 10.
Two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances.
One of them was blacked out and faced the wrong way in the No. 1 lane after the impact.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to help the motorists. At least one party sustained minor injuries.
One of the drivers was cited for an unknown violation and released.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
