Bakersfield, California (November 13, 2020) – The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the cause of a pedestrian accident that occurred early Friday morning in Bakersfield.
Officials responded to the hit-and-run crash site at about 5:54 a.m. on Baker Street and E Street.
As per the report, an individual was struck by a gray or silver Chevy pickup with a camper shell whose driver fled the scene.
Minor Injury Bakersfield Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Crash
Paramedics rushed the unidentified pedestrian to an area hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
The accident remains under active investigation.
