Woman Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on South Real Road near Wilson Road
Bakersfield, California (August 13, 2020) – The woman who was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Sunday night in Bakersfield has succumbed to her injuries.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened at about 11:27 p.m. Sunday, August 9, on South Real Road near Wilson Road.
Authorities said the woman was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons on South Real Road.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the woman suffering from major injuries following the crash. She was then taken to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
The driver involved stopped at the scene and was cooperative, authorities said.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
