Bakersfield, California (October 18, 2020) – The Bakersfield Police are investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision in Bakersfield on October 17.

The motorcycle crash was reported at approximately 10:11 a.m., near Kiely Boulevard and Pruneridge Avenue.

The circumstances that led to the collision of a motorcycle and a white work truck, with a built-in toolbox and tool rack, were not immediately established at the time of the report.

Meanwhile, the truck motorist did stop to render aid and escaped the crash site.

Rider Sustains Moderate Injuries in Bakersfield Crash

Paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the rider to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

An investigation into the collision is underway.
