Contra Costa, California (October 18, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a solo car crash in Martinez, Contra Costa, on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened shortly before midnight on Interstate 80 Freeway at the Cummings Skyway off-ramp.
A vehicle is reported to have crashed on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
