Rider Hospitalized after Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash at Fairfax and Mountain View Roads
Bakersfield, California (November 4, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Tuesday evening at an intersection in Bakersfield, according to a local news source.
At about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, the California Highway Patrol officials received a report about the accident at the intersection of Fairfax and Mountain View roads, near Highway 184.
According to the CHP, a red Honda 4-door sedan collided with a motorcycle at the Bakersfield intersection for unknown reasons.
After the impact, the vehicle and the motorcycle burst into flames.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the rider were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection was temporarily closed for the investigation.
