Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash on South Chester Avenue near Southgate Drive
Bakersfield, California (March 15, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Saturday evening in South Bakersfield, according to a local news source.
The California Highway Patrol said the major injury collision occurred at about 5:09 p.m. Saturday, March 13, on South Chester Avenue, just south of Southgate Drive.
According to the CHP, the motorcyclist collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck on South Chester Avenue.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical for treatment. The name and current condition of the rider were not disclosed.
