1 Person Killed in Bakersfield Accident on Highway 178 near Cow Flat Road
Bakersfield, California (November 28, 2020) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday evening in Bakersfield, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Highway 178 near Cow Flat Road.
According to the CHP, a vehicle struck a guardrail, rolled down the mountain, and crashed into a tree that is above the water in the Kern River.
