33-Year-Old Man Killed in Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Highway 99 near Rosedale Highway

Bakersfield, California (April 28, 2021) – A 33-year-old man was killed in a Tuesday evening motorcycle crash in Bakersfield, authorities said.

The accident happened on southbound Highway 99 near Rosedale Highway at about 6:29 p.m. on April 27.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old rider made an unsafe turn on the highway and crashed into the rear of a big rig’s trailer.

Following the collision, the rider was reportedly ejected onto the roadway.

Sadly the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
