1 Injured in Bakersfield Accident on South Union Avenue

Bakersfield, California (March 11, 2021) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian accident that happened in Bakersfield Wednesday afternoon injured one person.
The hit-and-run collision took place at 10075 South Union Avenue just about 4:45 p.m.
The CHP did not immediately establish how a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Machado Avenue and Curnow Road in the afternoon hours.

The victim was attended to by paramedics who responded to the crash site shortly after the mishap.
Union Avenue was closed down as investigation and clean-up took place.
