5 Injured, 3 Seriously in Azusa Canyon Car Accident on East Fork Road near Highway 39
Azusa Canyon, California (April 28, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that left five people injured, three of them seriously, on Monday afternoon in Azusa Canyon.
The crash occurred at about 2:32 p.m. April 27, on East Fork Road, just east of Highway 39.
As per the police report, a black Chevrolet Colorado collided head-on with another car, possibly a white Mitsubishi 3000GT.
Three patients were airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. Two other patients were also hospitalized with minor injuries resulting from the crash.
The roadway was closed for an unspecified period due to the mishap.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
