Azusa, California (April 11, 2021) – Eight people were injured in a head-on collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Azusa, a local news source reported.
Two of the patients were listed in critical condition after the accident that happened at around 2:05 p.m. on San Gabriel Canyon Road at Mile Marker 18, as per the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
According to authorities, two vehicles of unknown make and model collided head-on, temporarily trapping two people.
Those two were critically injured, and six others suffered minor injuries. Authorities did not identify the victims.
The cause of the crash remained unknown, but an investigation is ongoing.
