Perris, California (April 2, 2021) – An ATV rider died in an alleged hit-and-run collision on Thursday evening in the area of Mead Valley near Perris.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened in the 20700 block of Myron Street near Mead Street at about 8 p.m. April 1.
An ATV was reportedly struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at the scene.
The Riverside County Fire Department said the ATV rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was killed in the accident.
The description of the suspect’s vehicle was not immediately provided.
