Aptos, California (May 27, 2021) – A rider sustained minor injuries following a three-vehicle collision Thursday morning in Aptos, the California Highway Patrol said.

The minor injury motorcycle crash happened on the northbound Cabrillo Highway 1 near Rio Del Mar Boulevard at around 7:25 a.m. on May 27.

As per the report, a motorcycle rear-ended a grey Lexus in the morning hours for unknown reasons. Due to the impact, the motorcyclist rolled over and crashed with a truck.

The rider reportedly sustained minor injuries following the crash.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause f the accident.
