Apple Valley Girl Killed in Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Lenwood Road in Lenwood, San Bernardino
Lenwood, California (November 5, 2019) – An 18-year-old girl was killed in a car crash in Lenwood on Monday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on 15 Freeway near Lenwood Road at about 11:15 p.m. November 4.
CHP said the Apple Valley girl was driving a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville when she lost control and crashed into a guardrail. The car then continued and was struck by a 2017 Freightliner.

The impact of the collision sent the Pontiac off the roadway, coming to rest in the open desert terrain.
The unidentified girl was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Barstow Community Hospital by Desert Ambulance.
Sadly, she died while undergoing treatment.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
