Man Critically Injured in Apple Valley Pedestrian Crash on Highway 18 and Tao Road
Apple Valley, California (June 10, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday night in Apple Valley, according to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The wreck happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. June 9, on Highway 18 and Tao Road.
Deputies said a 2014 VW Passat was traveling westbound on Highway 18 when it struck a man who ran across the road.

The emergency crews responded and performed CPR on the victim. The man was then transported to a trauma center by Mercy Air with major injuries.
The driver of the Passat stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
The collision remains under investigation.
