Annica Dahlstrom Killed in Blythe Crash at State Route 95 and Chanslor Way
Blythe, California (March 15, 2019) – Annica Dahlstrom, 18, has been identified as the girl who died in a two-vehicle accident in Blythe Wednesday morning, according to the Blythe Police Department.
The fatal collision occurred just before 10:34 a.m. March 13, at Intake Boulevard and Chanslor Way.
The report indicated that a dump truck and a Volkswagen collided at the intersection. The reason as to why the two vehicles crashed remains unknown to this time. It is unclear whether Dahlstrom was a driver or a passenger inside a vehicle, or a pedestrian struck.
She suffered major injuries and was transported to Palo Verde Hospital for treatment. The young woman was pronounced dead shortly after at about 11:49 a.m.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
