Angel Ibanez ID’d as 14-Year-Old Boy Killed in Los Banos Car Crash on Ingomar Grade near Sylvester Road
Los Banos, California (October 2, 2020) – Angel Ibanez, 14, has been identified as the boy who died following a traffic accident that happened Tuesday evening in Los Banos.
The deadly single-vehicle accident happened at about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, on Ingomar Grade, just north of Sylvester Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 13-year-old boy was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban on Ingomar Grade when he lost control on a curve, and the vehicle overturned multiple times.

Angel Ibanez was ejected from the vehicle upon the impact and died at the scene.
The driver and his other two passengers, a 14-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
