Motorcyclist Injured in Anaheim Hit-and-Run Accident on 91 Freeway at Weir Canyon Road Off-Ramp

Anaheim, California (May 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to CHP, the accident was reported just after noon Saturday, May 15, on the 91 Freeway at Weir Canyon Road exit.
CHP said a motorcycle collided with a gray Ford Edge for undetermined reasons in the eastbound lane of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the injured motorcycle rider. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the Ford, described as a woman in his 50s, fled the scene. The suspect was last seen heading eastbound on the 91 Freeway to northbound 15 Freeway transition.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
