Fresno Man Killed, Stefanie Bieser Arrested after Anaheim Pedestrian Crash on Disneyland Drive
Anaheim, California (February 10, 2019) – Police arrested a La Mirada woman after she struck and killed a Fresno man in a suspected drunk driving accident late Saturday night in Anaheim.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the crash happened at about 11 p.m. February 9 on Disneyland Drive north of Katella Avenue.
Police said Stefanie Lyn Bieser, 47, of La Mirada, was driving a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser northbound on Disneyland Drive when she jumped the curb, crashed into a pole and an electrical box before striking the man, who was walking south on the east sidewalk.
The victim was transported to U.C. Irvine Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The victim was only identified as a 54-year-old man from Fresno.
Bieser was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
Anaheim police are investigating the crash.
