Ana Miramontes Among 2 Killed in San Dimas Car Accident on 10 Freeway
San Dimas, California (November 10, 2020) – Ana Miramontes, 41, of Upland, has been identified as one of the two persons who were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in San Dimas, according to the coroner’s office.
The deadly accident transpired at about 2:08 a.m., on November 8, on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, just west of Via Verde.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2018 Nissan was rear-ended by a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed on the freeway.
Ana Miramontes Killed in San Dimas Car Accident
Sadly, Ana Miramontes and Daniel Miramontes of Rialto were pronounced dead at the scene. They were in the Nissan at the time of the accident.
An 18-year-old man suffered major injuries, and a 16-year-old boy had moderate injuries. They were both transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. The two parties were in the other vehicle.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
