Alyssa Herrera Injured in Riverbank Accident at Patterson Road and Hot Springs Lane
Riverbank, California (December 19, 2020) – Alyssa Herrera, 24, of Oakdale, has been identified as the person who was injured Wednesday afternoon after being involved in a deadly crash in Riverbank.
The fatal crash happened at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, near the intersection of Patterson Road and Hot Springs Lane.
Authorities said Alyssa Herrera, 24, of Oakdale, was driving a Toyota Corolla westbound on Patterson Road when a Lincoln Town Car pulled onto Patterson Road into the path of her car.
The Corolla then crashed into the side of the Lincoln while entering from the north side of the road.
Herrera and the driver of the Lincoln, Billy Bailey, 91, of Modesto, were transported to nearby hospitals, where Bailey was pronounced dead.
Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
