Alissa Campos Among 2 Victims in Fatal Car Crash on West California Avenue and South Howard Avenue in Kerman
Kerman, California (July 25, 2021) – Alissa Campos, 19, of Fresno, was among two people who were killed in a Saturday night traffic accident in Kerman, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at about 8:14 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the intersection of West California Avenue and South Howard Avenue.
The CHP said Joseph Rodriguez, 19, of Kerman, was driving a Chevrolet pickup westbound on California Avenue at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, which then drifted into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

Rodriguez and his passenger, Campos, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were taken to Community Regional Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
