Alexis Von Dasing ID’d as Woman Killed in Cactus City Crash on Interstate 10

Cactus City, California (April 2, 2021) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the woman who died early Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Cactus City as Alexis Von Dasing, 25, of El Paso, Texas.
The deadly accident, which was reported to the California Highway Patrol at around 4:15 a.m., Wednesday, March 31, happened in the eastbound lane of Interstate 10.
Authorities said a vehicle, occupied by Von Dasing and another person, was heading eastbound on Interstate 10 when, for unknown reasons, the car crashed on the roadway and rolled over several times.
Von Dasing was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The other occupant was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency responders. The patient was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The CHP said approximately 25 feet of guardrail was spread across traffic lanes.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
