Several Injured in Adelanto Car Crash at Sheep Creek and El Mirage Roads
Adelanto, California (August 10, 2020) – Several people were injured Saturday night in a t-bone crash at an intersection in Adelanto, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 8, at the intersection of Sheep Creek and El Mirage Roads.
According to the CHP, the crash involved a silver Chevy Tahoe and a silver Ford F-150.
Details of what led up to the collision were not immediately available, but authorities said the Tahoe sustained major damage to the passenger side after the impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated a child who was trapped in the wrecked Tahoe.
A female passenger in the Tahoe was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
The child and two other people in the Tahoe, including the child’s dad and another little girl, were taken by land ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
The driver of the Ford sustained a minor head injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
