Enriqueta Guzman Rosales Among 3 Killed in Highway 395 Crash in Walker
Walker, California (July 3, 2019) – Enriqueta Guzman Rosales, 81, of Los Angeles, was among three people killed in a traffic accident that happened Sunday afternoon near Walker.
The tragic wreck occurred just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30 on Highway 395 near Walker Ball Field, just south of Topaz Lake.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tacoma was traveling northbound on Highway 395 when for unspecified reasons it collided head-on with a southbound Nissan Pathfinder.
Rosales, who was a passenger in the Pathfinder, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota and another passenger in the Pathfinder were also killed in the crash.
The other occupant of the Toyota was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno with unspecified injuries.
According to the CHP, the remaining passengers from both vehicles sustained critical injuries and their names and current conditions have not been disclosed.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
