Marco Antonio Castillo ID’d as 1 of 3 Killed in Walker Car Accident on U.S. Highway 395 near Topaz Lake
Walker, California (July 3, 2019) – Authorities have identified Marco Antonio Castillo, 41, of Downey, as one of the three people who were killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Walker.
The fatal crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30 on Highway 395 near Walker Ball Field, just south of Topaz Lake.
CHP said a Toyota Tacoma was heading northbound on Highway 395 when for undetermined reasons it collided head-on with a Nissan Pathfinder that was traveling southbound.

Castillo, who was a passenger in the Pathfinder, died on the way to the hospital. Another passenger in the Pathfinder and the driver of the Toyota were both pronounced dead the scene.
A passenger in the Toyota was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno. The remaining occupants of both vehicles sustained critical injuries.
No further details were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
