Cole Jensen Hospitalized after Middletown Crash on Highway 175 near Anderson Springs Road
Middletown, California (May 14, 2019) – A 17-year-old driver was injured in a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Middletown, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision took place at about 5:36 p.m. May 12, on Highway 175, just north of Anderson Springs Road.
Authorities said a 1992 Toyota pickup was traveling westbound on Highway 175 when the driver drifted into the eastbound side and collided with an oncoming 2006 Nissan Altima.
Cole Jensen Injured in Middletown Car Crash
The driver of the Altima, Cole Jensen, 17, of Middletown, was airlifted to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The driver of the Toyota fled the scene after the crash but he was located in the nearby bushes. The driver was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
