3 Injured, Woman Airlifted after Agoura Hills Car Accident on Malibu Canyon Road near Piuma Road

Agoura Hills, California (May 13, 2018) – Three people were injured Saturday evening in a three-car accident in Agoura Hills, according to authorities.
The wreck, which was reported at about 5:52 p.m. Saturday, May 11, happened on Malibu Canyon Road, just south of Piuma Road.
Witnesses told the CHP that a dark BMW, a black Volkswagen and a gray SUV were involved in the collision.

The CHP said at least one person was trapped inside their vehicle. A woman sustained a major head injury was airlifted to a hospital and at least two others were transported by ground ambulance to local hospitals.
Their names and conditions at this time were not disclosed.
At about 6:14 p.m., a SigAlert was issued blocking all lanes in both directions of Malibu Canyon Road south of Piuma Road. As of 8:15 p.m. the road was reopened.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
