San Mateo, California (May 2, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in the area of San Mateo, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The crash happened at around 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, on Highway 101 and 3rd Avenue.

As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. Two persons were transported to Stanford Healthcare for complaints of pain to neck and back as a result of the crash.

The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
