1 Killed in DUI Car Accident at Euclid and Valencia Drive in Fullerton
Passenger Killed, Driver Critically Injured in Fullerton Car Accident at Euclid and Valencia Drive; Randy Wilkins Arrested
Fullerton, California (April 1, 2019) – A passenger was killed and a driver was critically injured in an alleged DUI car accident involving a stolen car that happened Monday morning in Fullerton.
The crash occurred at about 10:00 a.m. at Euclid and Valencia Drive near Charlie’s Best restaurant.
Authorities initially received a report that a Toyota Highlander was driving recklessly and erratically at Orangethorpe Avenue and Brookhurst Street.
The Toyota Highlander was reported stolen out of Long Beach two days ago. It was heading eastbound on Valencia Drive at a high rate of speed when it T-boned a Honda Accord.
Fatal Stolen Car Crash in Fullerton Monday
A passenger in the Honda died at the scene. The female driver of the Honda sustained critical injuries. Their identities have not yet been released.
The suspect, identified as Randy Wilkins, 39, of Long Beach, was arrested and booked into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
