Minor Injuries Sustained after Contra Costa Accident on Highway 4 and Laurel Road
Contra Costa, California (March 4, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a four-vehicle collision early Monday morning in the area of Contra Costa, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 12:48 a.m. Monday, on eastbound Highway 4, just east of Laurel Road.
As per the officials, four vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. Only occupants of two of the vehicles were injured.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the accident. The roadway was cleared as of 1:47 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
