Minor Injuries Reported after Buttonwillow Car Crash on 5 Freeway and Lerdo Highway
Buttonwillow, California (March 4, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision early Monday morning in the area of Buttonwillow, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 2:37 a.m. Monday, on 5 Freeway, just north of Lerdo Highway.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the cars overturned as a result of the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately released.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
