Minor Injuries Reported after Gridley Accident on Highway 99 and Avenue 48
Gridley, California (February 15, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision late Friday afternoon in Gridley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 11:54 a.m. Friday, on southbound Highway 99, just south of Avenue 48.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles including a big rig crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The cars were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the accident. All lanes were opened as of 12:20 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
