2 Hurt after Stolen Vehicle Leads to Santa Maria Crash on Broadway and Donovan Road
Santa Maria, CA: (February 15, 2019) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a driver operating a stolen vehicle on Thursday morning in Santa Maria, according to the Santa Maria Police.
The collision took place at about 9:30 a.m. February 14, on North Broadway and Donovan Road.
The California Highway Patrol said officers located the stolen car and stopped the driver. The suspect failed to stop, leading officers on a chase.
The chase led the officers through Nipomo and back to Santa Maria where the stolen car collided with four other vehicles on Broadway and Donovan Road.
According to the report, people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested.
The identities of the parties involved were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
