At Least 1 Injured after Rancho Cordova Crash on Highway 50 and Mather Field Road
Rancho Cordova, California (February 14, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a traffic collision Thursday night in the area of Rancho Cordova, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 9:10 p.m. Thursday, on Highway 50, just east of Mather Field Road on-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Officials blocked all lanes following the collision. The roadway was opened as of 10:02 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
