4 Injured in Irwindale Car Accident on Foothill Boulevard between Irwindale Avenue and Encanto Parkway
Irwindale, California (February 7, 2019) – Four people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon following a traffic accident involving three vehicles in Irwindale, according to a local news source.
Police said the collision was reported at around 1:55 p.m. on Foothill Boulevard between Irwindale Avenue and Encanto Parkway.
Details are extremely limited at this time and it’s unknown what caused the crash.
According to the police, a woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona.
Three other people, all from another vehicle, were also taken to Foothill Presbyterian Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Foothill Boulevard was shut down in both directions between Irwindale Avenue and Encanto Parkway.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
