Pacifica, CA: Major Injury 2-Car Crash on Old Pacific Coast Highway Trail

Pacifica, California (February 8, 2019) – Major injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in the area of Pacifica, according to authorities.

The collision happened at around 2:07 p.m. Thursday, on Old Pacific Coast Highway Trail, just north of Devils Slide Tunnel.

As per officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

A SigAlert was issued closing the lanes. The SigAlert was canceled and the roadway opened as of 3:34 p.m.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
